Executive Team

CEO / Masata Kaneda
Masata Kaneda played a key role in the establishment of ispace, a company developing planetary exploration robots, where he served as a board member overseeing the development and management of autonomous control robots for multiple missions. In 2014, he founded the Space Entertainment Laboratory and served as its representative director. Additionally, he became the chairman of the Fukushima Next-Generation Aviation Strategy Promotion Council in September 2021.

CTO / Shusaku Yamaura
Shusaku Yamaura is an alumnus of the Aerospace Engineering program at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he conducted research on autonomous coordinated flight of multiple helicopters and indoor flight path generation for drones. He has served as a Control Systems Designer and Project Manager for the UNIFORM-1 small satellite project at Wakayama University and Keio University, leading the mission to success. He was involved in the founding of Space Entertainment Laboratory and serves as its CTO, where he is responsible for technical development and demonstration experiments.
